Professor of fish biology and aquatic ecology,since 1993, at Menofia University, Egypt.
B.Sc. (Zoology and Chemistry) from Cairo University, 1968; M.Sc. in Ecology, F. Sc., Azhar University,1977; Ph.D. in Ecology, Minufiya and Michigan Universities, 1982, Associate Prof., 1987; Professor, 1993. Awarded the University of Menofia Prize of Appreciation in basic sciences, 2017.
