Dr. Ashraf Mohamed Abdel Rahman Abu-Seida is currently working as Professor in Department of Surgery, Anesthesiology & Radiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University Giza, Egypt. He obtained his Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from same University in 2002. In past he worked as Demonstrator, Assistant Lecturer, Researcher and Lecturer of Surgery and Assistant Professor at Cairo University, Egypt. He has published 58 articles in national and international journals, 12 oral presentations and 5 poster presentations contributed as author/co-author. He supervised 13 students thesis, 18 students thesis currently in his supervision. He also received National Incentive Reward for Agricultural Sciences, International publications awards from Cairo University, The best research article award of the 29th Arab Veterinary Medical Congress, and Selection for the Whos Who in the World 2015 (32nd Edition) as one of the worlds foremost achievers in the veterinary field, and several awards during the undergraduate study. He also actively attended number national and international conferences and workshops. He is also editor of more than 60 international articles. He is also working as member of different Associations such as Egyptian Veterinary Medical Association, Egyptian Veterinary Association for Buffalo Development, Egyptian Society for Animal Management, Egyptian Society of Experimental Surgery, and Board member of Society of Applied Pharmacology.
