Dr. Olawuyi Odunayo Joseph is presently working as Lecturer and Researcher of Genetics, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology at University of Ibadan, Ibadan. Nigeria. He earned his PhD in Botany (Genetics) from University of Ibadan, Ibadan in 2011. Previously he was appointed as Senior Education Officer at Osun State Ministry of Education, Government Technical College, Inisa, Part-Time Lecturer at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Nigeria, Part-Time Lecturer at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, and Lecturer and Researcher at Department of Biosciences & Biotechnology, Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State. Dr. Olawuyi is professional member of Society of Agricultural Biotechnology, Genetics Society of Nigeria, and Nigerian Society for Microbiology, Mycological Society of Nigeria, Nigerian Organic Agriculture Network, Nigerian Society for Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Botanical Society of Nigeria, and Agricultural Society of Nigeria. He has supervised 45 undergraduate students and 9 MSc projects. He has completed 2 research projects. His current area of research interest focuses on Quantitative and Molecular Genetics, Mutation Breeding, Plant and Fungi Biotechnology. Dr. Olawuyi has 63 publication in journals contributed as author/co-author. He also attended number of conferences and workshops.
