Biography

Dr. Timothy Onosahwo Iyendo is a senior lecturer at European University of Lefke. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Architecture from Eastern Mediterranean University in August 2011 and November 2016 respectively. His Ph.D. explores the healthcare environmental design with a focus on sound perception as it relates to occupants’ experience. His current research interests include soundscape ecology, music psychology, and evidence-based design theory/architecture, as well as indoor environmental quality, climate adaptive architecture, and visual articulation of space as it concerns artwork and lighting in healthcare design.
