Biography

Dr. Babatunde Fikayo Ezekiel holds a position of Senior Lecturer at Osun State University, Nigeria. He has completed his Ph.D. in Agronomy from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, Nigeria. Previously he was appointed as Head Baker at Ireti-Olu Bakery and Confectionery, Leaf Instructor at Nigeria Tobacco Company (NTC) Plc, Farm Manager at Gbonjubola Agro Industrial Company Ltd Erunmu, Egbeda, Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer II, Lecturer I, and Senior Lecturer at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, and Associate Professor at Osun State University, Nigeria. His area of research interest focuses on Agronomy of Arable and Horticultural Crops, Extension services to Rural Agrarian Communities, Linkages between Agronomic practices and Postharvest quality of Crops, Agronomic search on underexploited Fruits and Vegetables, and Management of Agricultural wastes through Agronomic Practices. He is member of learned societies such as Vice President of Society for Conservation of Phytofuel and Sciences, member of African Crop Science Society, Nigerian Organic Agriculture Network, International Society for Horticultural Sciences, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Nigerian Association of Teachers of Technology, Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology, League of Researchers in Nigeria, Weed Science Society of Nigeria, Farm Management Association of Nigeria, Horticultural Society of Nigeria, and Agricultural Society of Nigeria. He successfully supervised 10 undergraduate thesis, 3 PhD, 2 MSc and 2 PGD students. Dr. Babatunde has published 37 research articles in journals, 10 proceedings, and 33 papers in different scientific meeting contributed as author/co-author.
