Biography

Dr. Abaynew, a well organized and resourceful professional with about seven years’ experience as an assistant professor and more than twelve years of teaching experience at both bachelor's and graduate levels, has a solid academic background in entomology. He has supervised many graduate students and has been involved in collaborative research with broad knowledge and skills in integrated pest management, insect ecology, Lepidoptera taxonomy, and insect diversity. He is skilled in practical experiments, collecting data and analysis, and reviewing articles with excellent analytical and problem solving skills; able to handle multiple projects while producing high quality work in a deadline-oriented environment. He is fluent in the English language.
