Dr. Klaus Schwarzer is currently working as Senior Scientist at Kiel University, Institute of Geosciences, Sedimentology, Coastal and Continental Shelf Research. He has completed his Ph.D. in Geology from same University. He also completed 15 national and international research projects. He is member of editorial board in Continental Shelf Research. He is member of Cluster of Excellence Future Ocean at Kiel University, and Committee-member for offshore subsoil exploration for wind energy plants, member of the working group Hydromorphology of the national committee for the EU water framework directive. He has published 17 research articles in journals, 1 book and 2 chapters in books contributed as author/co-author.
