Biography

Dr. Nazrulazhar Bahaman is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer and Communication System, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology UTeM. With a qualification in Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, he started gaining experience in networking site as a Network Engineer on his first job. Previously he was appointed as Network Engineer at Aliran Permata, Service Engineer at Sapura IT, Network Engineer at Hicom Communication, and Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Mara. After graduated on Master Science in Information Technology, he has successfully developed his teaching skill at UiTM about years as a Lecturer. He has qualified in both Electronic Engineering and Information Technology, he has sought to bring together both discipline in his PhD regarding threats on IPV6 Transition Mechanism. Now, he still cooperates in giving ideas about IT matters and also involve in Cisco Academy training courses as Instructor. His research interest is in Computer Networking, that particularly on IPv6, IP-in-IP Threats, Attack Methods and Mitigation Techniques. To date he is also a Certified IPv6 Network Engineer (CNE6) and a Certified Cisco Academy Instructor (CCAI). He has 9 publications in journals.
