Biography

Dr. Xiao-Song He is currently working as Assistant Professor at Innovation Base of Ground Water & Environmental System Engineering, Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Science (CRAES). He has completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Beijing Normal University, China. He also appointed as Research Assistant at Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences. He carried out research to investigate the Concentrations, Sources, Composition and Chemical characteristics of DOM using Spectral Methods such as Fluorescence, NMR and FTIR Spectra, investigate the Concentrations and Sources of Heavy Metal and the interaction between Heavy Metal and DOM, and study the composition and evolution of Water Extractable Organic Matter during composting or Landfill of Municipal Solid Waste. He has 16 publications in journals as author/co-author.
