Biography

Dr. Bing Xie obtained his B.Sc & M.Sc. in Environmental Science and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering in China. He is now a Full Professor in the Department of Environment Science and Technology, School of Ecology and Environmental Science, East China Normal University. His areas of interest include Applied Research in Environmental Engineering and Pollution Control. His work is Multi-Disciplinary, ranging from studies on Solid Waste and Wastewater Treatment, Design on Pollution Control and Environmental Microbiology. He has more than 100 papers home and international journals in print and various awards by Shanghai Government. He has been successful in securing more than 50 projects including from NSFCs, municipal funding and industrial research grants. He currently owns 10 patents.
