Biography

Dr. Qixing Zhou received his Ph.D. degree in Pollution Ecology from Chinese Academy of Sciences, China in 1992. Currently he is working as Professor, PhD Supervisor, Chief Scientist, and Dean at College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nankai University, China. His main area of research related to Eco-Environmental Geochemistry and Remediation of Contaminated Soils/Water, Environmental Health and Geomedicine and Environmental Criteria/Standards. He is member of Division of Geoscience, Natural Resources and Environmental Science, Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Education, Peoples Republic of China, and Member of Discipline Assessment Group of State Council Academic Degree Committee, Peoples Republic of China, Standing Director of Ecological Society of China, and Chinese Society of Natural Resources. He has 87 publications in journals and 7 monograph and books contributed as author/co-author.
