Biography

I am now working as "Assistant Professor" at the Department of Parasitology, Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet, Bangladesh. My field of specialization is Parasitology with a focus to Implementation Research, Public Health and Molecular Biology. My research interests lie in the area of "Parasites Biobanking & Control", ranging from theory to design to implementation. I have received Global Korea Scholarship (2018) for PhD and WHO/TDR Postgraduate Scholarship (2015/2016) for MPH (Special Postgraduate Program of Implementation Research), I have attended training programs at several universities including Seoul National University (Korea), Chungbuk National University (Korea), Duksung Women's University (Korea), University Gadjah Mada (Indonesia), Hanoi University of Public Health (Vietnum), Khon Kaen University (Thailand), United Nations University (Japan), Institut Pasteur de Tunis (Tunisia) and University of Ghana (Ghana). I have published more than 15 scientific articles as the author or coauthor in international refereed journals and contributed more than 20 national and international conferences and workshops. I have firm grounding in the fields of parasitological laboratory research along with the ecology, epidemiology, isolation, identification various helminth, protozoa and their vectors. I have sound skills on qualitative and quantitative research including FGDs, Project Managements and control programs Implementation. Presently, I am working as "Researcher" at "Parasite Research Center & Parasite Resource Bank (PRB)", Korea.
