Dr. Jaw-Wen Che is currently working as Professor of Medicine in Institute of Pharmacology and the Associate Dean in the Office of Research and Development in National Yang-Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan. He is also the Director of Clinical Research and a Visiting Cardiologist in Taipei Veterans General Hospital. He has been trained as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Vascular Biology and Medicine in Stanford University Cardiovascular Research Center. He focused his researches on vascular biology and molecular biology related to oxidative stress, vascular inflammation, and endothelial dysfunction, high glucose and atherogenesis, 3) drugs or chemicals with antioxidant capacity for atherogenesis and hypertension, inflammatory biomarkers in clinical cardiovascular diseases and vascular progenitor cells for vascular repair and angiogenesis. He has published more than 240 scientific papers. He is the follow of American Heart Association, European Society of Cardiology, and Asia-Pacific Society of Cardiology. He reviews papers for more than 50 international journals including Circulation, JACC, European Heart journal, Diabetes, Hypertension, ATVB, and so on. Since 2012, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Acta Cardiologica Sinica and is currently the Editorial Board for 10 international journals.
