Biography

Dr. Ebubekir Altuntas is a Professor of the Biosystems Engineering Department at the Gaziosmanpasa University in Tokat/Turkey. He graduated in Faculty of Agriculture at the Ankara University in Turkey. He received his PhD degree in Agricultural Machinery from Selcuk University, Turkey (1998). He became Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in 2000, 2006 and 2012 respectively. His area of research interest focuses on Material Science (metallic materials), Agricultural Material Science (physico-mechanical properties of biological materials), and Alternative Soil Tillage and Planting Systems. He has published 45 research articles in international journals and 4 international conference proceeding contributed as author/co-author. He successfully completed 7 research projects. He is Editor-in-Chief in Journal of Agricultural Faculty of Gaziosmanpasa University, member of editorial board in number of journals.
