Biography

Dr. Priyanka Rane-Khopkar received her Ph.D. in Biotechnology, and MSc in Zoology from University of Mumbai, India in 2013 & 2007 respectively. She worked as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for Department of Biotechnology (DBT) Project Trainee in Animal Cell Culture and Biochemistry Department, and in FDA Approved Microbiology Lab and assisted in sponsored clinical research studies for various products. She also successfully completed 2 research projects at Advance Biochemical India Ltd, Thane, Maharashtra, India. She has completed her training course from Nicholas Piramal, Mulund, Mumbai, India, and Haffkins Research Institute, Parel, Mumbai Maharashtra, India. She has published 2 articles in journals 2 poster in conferences. Further to her skills she has good knowledge in Designing Experiment, Optimization of Experiment, Troubleshooting, Report Making, Plasmid, Mitochondrial and Genomic DNA Isolation, RNA Isolation, Protein Isolation, PAGE (Polyacryl Amide Gel Electrophoresis), and Protein Assays, Enzyme Kinetics. She organized Ecology & Economics Quiz, Workshop on survey techniques & Exhibition in V.G. Vaze College, and participated in Intra-collegiate presentation on Bio-plastics & on Soaps & Detergents and won the prize for Bio-plastics.
