Biography

Anusha T S is a Doctoral student, Depr of Biotechnology, University of Calicut, under the guidance of K K Elyas. She is expertise in the area of Plant Biotechnology and Phytochemistry. Her doctoral studies mainly focused on the micropropagation of Celastrus paniculatus -Willd, an endangered medicinal plant. The established cultures were then subjected to qualitative chemical comparison in order to ensure the true to type nature of the in vitro raised clones. Reaearch publications include, 1).Assessment of genetic fidelity of in vitro propagated clones of Celastrus paniculatus Willd by using RAPD based PCR Amplification. IOSR Journal of Biotechnology and Biochemistry (IOSR-JBB). ISSN: 2455-264X, Volume 1, Issue 6 (Sep. – Oct. 2015), PP 29-32. www.iosrjournals.org

2). Callus Induction and Elicitation of Total Phenolics inCallus Cell Suspension Culture of Celastrus paniculatus – willd,an Endangered Medicinal Plant in India. Pharmacognosy Journal,2016,8,5,471-475.
