Biography

Dr. Vikas Kumar is currently working as Associate Professor of Pharmacology in Department of Pharmaceutics Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Neuro-psychopharmacology from same university in 2001. He is having 14 years research experience and 9 years teaching experience. He supervised 6 PhD, 14 M. Pharm and 4 M.D students thesis, 5 PhD, 2 M. Pharm and 1 M.D students currently in his supervision. He has published (111) articles in national and international journals, as well as (91) abstracts, and (3) books, (5) chapters in books are in his credit. He also attended more than 12 workshops and 15 conferences, and also organized 3 conferences. He is member of editorial board in more than 10 journals. He is also serving as peer reviewer in 25 journals. He is member and life member of number of societies. Dr. Vikas Kumar received honors, Recipient of Travel Grant from Government of India, Rashtriya Gaurav Award, Leading Scientist of the World 2008, International Scientist of the Year 2007, selection of biography in Marquis Whos Who in the World, Sami Khatib Gold Medal, Awarded Post Doctoral Fellowship, Servier Young Investigators Award, and Senior Research Fellowship.
