Biography

Dr. Balakrishna Kalluraya is currently working as Professor at Mangalore University, India. He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from same University. His area of research interest related to Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry. He has published 324 research articles in national and international journals as well as 144 conferences presentations contributed as author/co-author. He has guided 6 M.Phil, and 26 PhD students projects, and 9 PhD students currently in his supervision. He was received One Time UGC BSR award of Rs.7 Lakh from University Grants Commission, New Delhi for guiding 15 Students for their Ph.D.in the year 2011. He also visited Malaysia, Dubai and Singapore to attend International conferences. He had been an invited speaker at various national and international conferences and symposium. He successfully completed 6 research projects funded by different agencies. He is also serving as member of several University authorities.
