Mr. Sulieman Bani-Ahmad is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Information and Technology, Al al-Bayt University, Mafraq, Jordan since . In , he was appointed as Teacher at the Al al-Bayt University, Mafraq, Jordan. In 2000, he was appointed as Lab Technician at the Department of Computer Engineering, Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan. In , he was appointed as Computer Trainer at the Greater Irbid Municipality, Irbid, Jordan. In , he was appointed as Instructor at the Faculty of Information Technology, Al al-Bayt University, Mafraq, Jordan. In , he was appointed as Grader for Database Systems and Data Structures Courses at the Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. In , he was appointed as Research Assistant at the Department of Computer Science, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. In , he was appointed as Computer Technician at the Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. In , he was appointed as IT Consultant and Web Administrator at the USA Income Tax Professionals Inc., Cleveland, Ohio, USA. In , he was appointed as Web Developer at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. In , he was appointed as Web Developer and IT Consultant at the Department of Endodontics, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

Mr. Sulieman Bani-Ahmad received his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering in 1999 at Jordan University of Science & Technology, Jordan. He got M.S. in Computer Science, Parallel Computing in 2002 from Al al-Bayt University, Mafraq, Jordan. Dr. Sulieman Bani-Ahmad obtained Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA in 2008 in Computing and Information Systems and Digital Libraries.

Mr. Sulieman Bani-Ahmads current research interests are Computing and Information Systems, Digital Libraries, Information Systems, Mesh-Based Parallel Computers, Processor Allocation in Mesh-Based Computer, Scocial Networks Analysis.

Bani-Ahmads research interests cover topics from Web-computing and Online Literature Digital Libraries. More specifically, he is interested in Social Network Analysis of literature citation graphs, domain-specific citation-behavior in literature citation networks, and research development models of literature. Bani-Ahmad also has works in the area of E-learning and technology-based teaching and has developed a tool for Multiple-Choice-based Exam-forms preparation. Finally, Bani-Ahmad also works in the area of parallel computing. More specifically, he worked on the topics of processor allocation and job scheduling.

Bani-Ahmad published in information retrieval and web computing conferences and journals such as Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL), European Conference on Research and Advanced Technology for Digital Libraries (ECDL), Innovations, in Information Technology, the International Conference on Education and Information Technology (ICEIT), the International Conference on Communication, Computing & Security (ICCCS), the International Conference on Signal and Image Processing (ICSIP), and the International Symposium on Parallel Architectures, Algorithms and Programming (PAAP). Bani-Ahmad has also published in multiple journals. Examples are: the VLDB journal, Information Technology Journal, the IADIS International Journal on Computer Science and Information Systems, Journal of Applied Sciences, Journal of Software Engineering, International Journal of Digital Content Technology and its Applications (JDCTA), Research Journal of Information Technology, and the IEEE Data Engineering Bulletin.

Bani-Ahmad worked as a peer reviewer and a technical committee member in a number of international conferences and workshops. For example, Bani-Ahmad is a TPC member in The International Conference on Information and Communication Systems (ICICS 2011) and in the Seventh International Conference in Information Technology (Innovations11). He is also a reviewer in a number of international journals. For example, Bani-Ahmad is a reviewer in The International Arab Journal of Information Technology (IAJIT). Bani-Ahmad is A member of IEEE; Jordanian Engineers Association; ACM; IACSE (International Association for Computer Scientists and Engineers), IACSIT (International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology); and IAENG (International Association of Engineers).
