Biography

Dr. Homayoun Kanouni is currently working as Assistant Professor at Seed & Plant Improvement Department, Agricultural Research Center of Kurdistan. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Plant Breeding from same Institute. His main area of interest focuses on Food Legume Breeding. His area of expertise includes Chickpea Breeding, Molecular markers and QTL Mapping, Biometrical Genetics, Biotic and Abiotic Stresses, and Interspecific Hybridization. He has 29 research articles in journals as author/co-author.
