Biography

Dr. Alfred Addo-Mensah is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Biology & Chemistry, Texas A&M International University. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Bioorganic Chemistry from Florida Atlantic University, USA. Dr. Alfred received honors includes TAMUS Chancellor Award for Teaching Excellence, Faculty Start-up Fund from Texas A&M International University, Newell Doctoral Scholarship for Academic Excellence from Florida Atlantic University, and First Class Honors- University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He also appointed as Demonstrator at University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana, Graduate Assistant at University of Maryland College Park and Florida Atlantic University, and Visiting Professor at Nova Southeastern University, Florida. He has published 2 research articles in journals, 1 book chapter, and 7 presentations. He also worked on 14 research projects as principal investigator and co-investigator. He is professional member of American Chemical Society and International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry.
