Biography

Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed Shaaban is currently working as Professor of Plant Nutrition. He obtained his PhD in Plant Physiology from Achen University/Institute of Biotechnology, Nuclear Research Centre Germany and Cairo University Egypt. His research work focused on several issues, investigates the best methods and was of plant nutrition to produce healthy crops that realize higher yields in different environments. He is member of research staff of the Egypto-German Reserch project “Micronutrients and other Plant Nutrition Problems in Egypt” which started in 1976 and continue till now and the Egypto-German Project “Optimization of Fertilizer Use” which started in 1986 and still running. He has published 70 research papers in journals, and also 2 patents and 3 discoveries. Recently, he faced to investigate Trunk Nutrition for fruits and ornamental trees. Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed also received honors include many of thanking and appreciation certificates from NGOs and Governmental organizations, Silver Medal from Kuwait International Exhibition, Appreciation Certificate and Monetary Reward, his name was also recorded in the International Presidential “Who’s Who”.
