Biography

For the past 25 years, I have been working in the pediatric field, from senior officer to Consultant pediatrics; I have worked in the outpatient department as well as inpatient department in tertiary hospitals.

Provide ongoing care to the children in outpatient clinic and those admitted in general pediatric ward as well as in the PICU department:

Critical sick children, Respiratory diseases: respiratory failure, pneumonia, chronic lung disease.
Brain insult and neurological abnormalities: asphyxia, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), intracranial hemorrhage.

Dealing with the emergency cases with skillful experience in: intubation (nasal, oral), nasogastric tubes and gavage feeding, adjusting and following up the mechanical ventilators (conventional, CPAP), exchange transfusion, lumbar puncture and others.


My academic career in the National Research Centre gives me the opportunity to meticulous researches in addition to participation in conferences and projects as well as supervising assays and thesis of junior staff and providing continuous medical education for juniors. Moreover, the development and maintenance competency in family practices is one of our responsibilities.
