Biography

Dr. Bosa Ebenezer Okoli is currently working as Professor of Genetics, Department of Plant Science & Biotechnology, University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, and Consultant Environmental Scientist on Mangrove Remediation/ Revegetation, Shell Petroleum Dev. Co. Ltd, Port Harcourt, & Warri; Elf Pet. Co. Ltd, Emerald Energy Resources Nig. Ltd etc. He has completed his Ph.D. in Genetics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Previously he was appointed as Graduate Assistant, Department of Biological sciences, University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Lecturer II, Lecturer I, Senior Lecturer, and Reader/ Associate Professor at School of Biological Sciences, University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Environmental Scientist at Shell Petroleum Dev. Co. Ltd, Port Harcourt. He is member of national and international societies such as President at Genetics society of Nigeria, and Botanical Society of Nigeria, Councillor for Africa in International Society of Plant Morphologists, Additional Secretary at International Society of Plant Morphologists, and member of Editorial Advisory Board in Journal of Applied Sciences & Environmental Management (JASEM). He has published 3 books as well as 57 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
