Biography

Yeremia D. Sanka is an Animal Production Scientist who holds BSc. Animal Science and MSc.Tropical animal production at Sokoine University of Agriculture. He is a Senior Livestock Advisor at the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries of the United Republic of Tanzania. He conducted several researches on Tanzanian local chicken. He is author and co-author of four research papers. He is currently a PhD student at Sokoine University of Agriculture studying Feeding strategies for semi-scavenging genetically improved chicken. Sanka has particular focus on science outreach to underserved communities and is an active member of animal production society.
