Biography

Carvalho Madivate is a Professor in Inorganic Chemistry at the department of Cvhemistry – Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) in Maputo – Mozambique. He got his BSc in Chemistry at the Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique, MSc in Electrochemistry at the Technische Hochschule Leuna Merseburg in Germany and a PhD from the Technical University Aachen – Germany. He has acted as a member of several institutional committees. Was Pedagogical Director at UEM and member of the Academic and University council at this university. Presently he is the Program Director for post graduate studies at the Department of Chemistry. He is a member of the Academy of Sciences of Mozambique and IUPAC focal point for Mozambique. His research interests are presently in the area of material sciences.
