Biography

Khaya Ntushelo completed his PhD degree at the University of Florida in 2010. The title of his PhD dissertation was “molecular properties of subgroup 16S IV-D phytoplasmas”. On his return to South Africa he joined the ARC Biotechnology Platform as a postdoctoral researcher and then joined Unisa in January 2012. Since he joined Unisa he has supervised to completion three masters students and two PhD students. His research interests include but not limited to plant pathogens especially soft rot enterobacteriacae.
