Biography

Prof. Dr. Sismindari Apt. is a Professor at Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada. She is a lecture at Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical School on the area of Drug Discovery, Molecular Biology, and Molecular Biotechnology. Prof.Dr.Sismindari has about 90 scientific papers published at International and National (Indonesian) Journal, since 1992. Her research focused on drug discovery and finding out the mechanism of action as anticancer and Molecular analysis for Halal autenthication and adulteration. She was awarded the UGM Award on developing standardized central laboratory for research and testing at 2007. Prof. Dr. Sismindari is a member of Indonesian Society for Cancer Chemoprevention. Prof.Dr. Sismindari graduated S1 degree as a Pharmacist and graduated as a Master on Medicinal Chemistry from Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada. She hold Ph.D on Molecular Biology from Department of Biochemistry, Leicester University, England.
