Fitra Yosi, S.Pt., M.S., M.I.L is a Senior Lecturer and a faculty member of The Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sriwijaya, Indonesia. He is regularly teaching in some subjects, such as poultry production, animal physiology, environmental science in livestock, and animal behavior. Mr. Fitra Yosi has some scientific papers and projects either presented or published. He is an internationally recognized expert in many areas of animal science including physiology, nutrition, production, and environment. Mr. Fitra Yosi is the Managing Editor for The “ Jurnal Peternakan Sriwijaya – Journal of Animal Science” published by Faculty of Agriculture, the University of Sriwijaya since 2012. Recent publications include a paper on the use of locally sourced ration for Improving the productivity of Pegagan Ducks in South Sumatra. Mr. Fitra Yosi has been awarded some research grants from Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in Indonesia, such as competence grant and competitive grant. He has acted on a number of institutional committees and served as a member of various international scientific societies including International Society for Southeast Asian Agricultural Sciences (ISSAAS), Sustainable Agriculture, Food and Energy (SAFE) Network, Japanese Society for Tropical Agriculture (JSTA), and Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological& Environmental Engineering Society (APCBEES). Mr. Fitra Yosi is recognized by his peers as a Scientific and Animal Science expert. Mr. Fitra Yosi holds a BS in Animal Science from the University of Padjadjaran in 2007 and MS in Animal Science and MIL in Environmental Science with highest honors from the University of Padjadjaran in 2011.
