Maherawati, is a lecturer at Agricultural Faculty, Tanjungpura University, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Now she was studying at Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta Indonesia to get doctoral degree at Food Science. Her researches is about chemistry and enzymology, especially in carbohydrate/starch. Her recent research is about enzyme in cassava, the previuos research on sago. She is also member of PATPI (Indonesia Food Technologist Association).
