Biography

Budi Setiadi Daryono is The Dean and Professor in Faculty of Biology, Gadjah Mada University and Researcher of molecular characterization of plant diseases, molecular and phylogenetic marker and plant endurance-gene inheritance. He graduated from the Faculty of Biology, Gadjah Mada University. Master in identification of Cucurbits viruses in Indonesia and screening for virus resistant in Melon at Laboratory of Tropical Plant and Protection, Tokyo University of Agriculture, Japan (2000-2002). Doctor in studies on identification of Melon virus in Indonesia and characterization of virus resistant gene in Melon at Laboratory of Tropical Plant and Protection, Tokyo University of Agriculture, Japan (2002-2005).
