Biography

Currently I am working in Whole Genome Sequencing of SARS-CoV-2 in BCSIR and submitted 263 SARV-CoV-2 whole genome sequences in GISAID and NCBI gene bank.
I was the project investigator of Special Allocation Project 2017-18 entitled “Analysis of antibiotic resistant bacterial evolution on antibiotic landscapes” under Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Ph.D. thesis entitled as “Mechanism of IFNg-mediated inhibition of Th2 cell proliferation” under the supervision of Toshinori Nakayama M.D., Ph.D. (Professor, Department of Immunology, Chiba University).
I have worked on project entitle “Antibiotic Resistance in Campylobacter jejuni Isolated from poultry and cattle in Bangladesh.” as Scientific Officer under the supervision of Dr. Shahana Parveen (Scientific Officer, Enteric & Food Microbiology, Bangladesh Council for Science and Industrial Research (BCSIR).
I have worked on project entitle “The role of mannose-binding lectin in the pathogenesis of GBS in Bangladesh” as Research Officer under the supervision of Dr. Zhahirul Islam (Assistant Scientist, Enteric & Food Microbiology under the Laboratory Sciences Division, International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh).
M.S. thesis on “Genomic DNA of Streptococcus pneumoniae activates both Th1 and Th2 pathways and protects mice against live cell challenge” under the supervision of Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Ahsan (Professor, Department of Microbiology, University of Dhaka) for the requirement of M.Sc(Hons).
B.Sc. project on “Extraction and Characterization of jute retting Mesophilic fungi Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus niger. under the supervision of Dr. Shakila Nargis Khan (Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology, University of Dhaka) for the requirement of B.Sc(Hons).
