Biography

Huseyin Goger was born in Aydin, Turkey on October 11, 1959. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Aydin. He graduated from the Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture and Department of Animal Science in 1984. After graduation He started to work in Foundation of Turkey (honeybee project), Erzincan Horticultural Research Institute, and Poultry Research Institute of Ankara 1984, 1986 and 1989 years respectively. While working for Foundation of Turkey, he awarded his MSc in 1986, and working for Poultry Research Institute he awarded his PhD in 1997 from the University of Ankara, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences. His interest in poultry breeding and production led him to become the head of breeding department at Poultry Research Institute of Ankara. He still continues to work in institutions that last worked for.
