Biography

Dr. Sumanta Nandi is currently working as Principal Scientist (Professor) at National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Veterinary Physiology from Karnataka Veterinary and Animal Fishery Sciences University, Karnataka, India. He also worked as Veterinary officer in Sagar Block, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India, Scientist in National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology (NIANP), Adugodi, Bangalore, Scientist and Senior Scientist at National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, India. Dr. Sumanta Nandi also recipient of National Scholar, University Merit Scholarship, ICAR Junior Research Fellowship in Animal Nutrition, and Gold medal for doctorate degree program from Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fishery Sciences University, Bidar. He is member of editorial board in 12 international journals. He has published 62 articles in international journals, 46 articles in national journals, and 108 papers in conferences, review 6 papers and 4 book chapters contributed as author/co-author.
