Biography

Dr. Yogananda Murthy is currently working as Principal and Professor at Ganga Kaveri Institute of Science and Management. He obtained his Ph.D. in Sericulture from Bangalore University, India. He also worked as Lecturer at K.G.F First Grade College. He is having 15 years of research experience on various aspects of Plant Breeding & Genetics, Evaluation studies, Plant Biochemistry - Mulberry Plants in Particular, Plant Biotechnology and Environmental Science. He successfully completed research project as Co-Investigator. He also recognized as a Research Guide/Supervisor for M.Phil Program in Periyar University (Periyar Institute of Distance Education-PRIDE) Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. He successfully supervised 5 M.Phil students’ projects. He is life member of Indian Science Congress Association, Applied and Natural Science Foundation, and member of Scientific Committee and Editorial Review Board on Medical and Biological Sciences. He also conducted 4 seminars and conferences. He also attended 30 workshops, seminars, symposium and conferences. He also presented research papers in number of national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. He has published 20 research papers published /communicated to scientific peer reviewed impact factor journals.
