Biography

Dr. Kamel Sultan is an assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension at Jerash University in Jordan. He was graduated from the faculty of Agriculture belonging to the University of Jordan in 1977 specialized in Animal Production. He worked as an assistant manager of S. Twal Farm (Animal and plant production) till 1982. He worked as a technical adviser and salesman for Jordan Feed Company and associated group companies. In 1986, He returned to work as a Farm manager for S. Twal Farm. While working in the Farm, he joined the Master Program in Animal Production at the University of Jordan, and finished that in 1988. Also, in 2001 He joined PhD program in Agribusiness and Agricultural Economics at the University of Jordan and finished that at 2005. In 2005 he worked as a private consultant some companies. In 2006, he started his own egg production project. In 2009 to the end of 2010 he worked in Sudan as the project manager of Noor El-Emirate Poultry Project belonging to Normandi Company near Khartoum. In 2011, he established his own consultancy office in the field of agriculture and socio-economies and he is the supervisor for that work till now beside the work at the University which started at the end of 2014.
