Dr. Sadiqa K. Quadri is currently working as Associate Research Scientist. She has completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. She is having 20 Years of Cell and Molecular Biology Research experience in Lung Biology for the treatment of Pulmonary Edema. Her area of expertise includes Develop new hypothesis and Molecular Mechanism for tightening the Cell Barrier to protect from Acute Lung Injury (ALI) or Respiratory Distress Syndrom (ARDS), Biology of Endothelial Cells and Eipthlial cells, Direct quantification of Lung Microvascular and Endothelial barrier Permeability, Mitochondrial transfer and Mitochondria Signaling, Mitochondrial transfer occurs in vivo between Exogenously administered Bone Marrow-Derived Mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) and the Endothelium and Alveolar Epithelium in Mouse Lungs Undergoing Endotoxin-Induced Alveolar Injury. She introduced the first direct measurements of Permeability in the Localized Endothelial Junction by the Optical Imaging Approach and developed the Point-Permeability Measurements to Quantify Barrier Properties at Localized Regions of the Endothelial Barrier. She has published 25 research articles in journals and 4 book and 4 chapters. She also worked as Reviewer for Blue Journals.
