Biography

Melissa L. Bogen, owner of Bogen Editorial Services, graduated from Wellesley College with a BA in Psychobiology. She has been in medical publishing since 1987 and a full-time freelance editor since 1997. A board-certified Editor in the Life Sciences since 2001, Melissa also holds core, advanced, and composition & publication certificates from the American Medical Writers Association.

Melissa’s expertise is in editing, copy editing, fact checking, and proofreading in a wide range of therapeutic areas, most prominently (but not limited to) cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, obstetrics & gynecology, pain, and urology.
