Biography

Dr. Lord Abbey is currently working as Instructor/Researcher, Horticultural Production at Assiniboine Community College Brandon, Manitoba. He obtained his PhD in Plant Sciences from Cranfield University, UK. In past he worked as Research Scientist at Crops Research Institute Kumasi, Ghana, Greenhouse/Horticulture Coordinator at The Stop Community Food Centre Toronto, Canada, Editor, The Agrologists at Ontario Institute of Agrologists Guelph, Canada. He has published 15 papers, participated in six workshops and conferences and edited three journal articles. He also successfully undertook industry-driven research program and successfully increased clients export volume by 40% through the appropriate crop management techniques. He also supervised a technical staff and five frontline staff, and co-supervised two undergraduate projects.
