Dr. David Yarbrough is currently working as Vice-President in R&D Services, Inc, Cookeville, Tennessee and Professor Emeritus at Tennessee Technological University. He has completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, USA in 1966. He also served as member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers, American Society for Engineering Education, American Society for Testing and Materials, and International Council of Building Officials. Dr. David received honors includes outstanding Faculty Award (TTU, College of Engineering), ASTM C 16-Award of Appreciation, Fellow of the Tennessee Academy of Science and International Thermal Conductivity Conference, and University Research Award. He also delivered number of invited lectures. He also served many scientific committees. His main area of research interest focuses on Chemical Thermodynamics, Materials for Energy Conservation, Numerical Modeling, Heat Transfer, and Thermal Insulation. He has 228 publications and presentations. He is Associate Editor of Journal of Thermal Insulation and Building.
