Biography

Dr. Surendra N. Kulshreshtha is currently working as Professor at Department of Bioresource, Policy, Business and Economics University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He obtained his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada in 1965. His field of specializations includes Rural Development, Climate Change and Agriculture, Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Agriculture, Water Resource Economics, Economics of Irrigation, Input Output Analysis, Economic Appraisal of Projects (Benefit-Cost Analysis), Applied Econometric Analysis and Forecasting, Econometric Models, Life Cycle Analysis. Dr Suerendra received honors includes, Award for obtaining the first position (in order of merit) in the 1960 M.Sc. Agricultural Economics, Canada Council Post Doctoral Fellowship, Biographed in Whos Who in the West, Fifteenth Edition, Listed in Men of Achievement, Nominated for the Professor of the Year award by the College of Agriculture Students, University of Saskatchewan, Award of Merit, Two Thousand Notable Americans, Third Edition, American Biographical Institute. He is professional member of Canadian Agricultural Economics and Farm Management Society, Canadian Water Resources Association, and Western Agricultural Economics Association. In past he worked as Research Investigator/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/ Research Economist/Post Doctoral Fellow/Senior Exchange Scientist/ Consultant/and Professor In different institutions. He has published (88) books, book chapters and peer review articles, (147) articles in referred journals, (174) technical reports, and (30) articles in non- referred journals (116) conference proceeding as author/co-author.
