Biography

Dr. Linhong Deng is currently working as Professor and Director at Changzhou University, Changzhou, Jiangsu, China, Cheung Kong Professor and Director at Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, and Visiting Scientist at Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, MA, USA, and Advisor and Board Director at Halifax Biomedical Inc. Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He obtained his PhD in Bioengineering from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK in 2000. His area of expertise includes Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering in relation to Physiology in health and Pathology in Respiratory Disease such as Asthma, Respiratory Medical Engineering from Bench to Bedside, Airborne Pollutants and Respiratory Health and Disease. He is Professional member of American Thoracic Society, USA, New York Academy of Sciences USA, Scientific Advisory Board, USA, Executive Board Member of Biophysical Society of China, Councilor and Founding Member of International Society of Mechanobiology, Chinese Optical Society, Biomedical Photonics Division of Chinese Optical Society, Biomaterials Society of China, Chongqing Biomedical Engineering Society, China and fellow of American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, USA. He is also member of editor board and reviewer of many journals.
