Biography

Dr. Isabella Ruble is currently working as Associate Professor at Department of Economics American University of Beirut Beirut, Lebanon. She has completed her Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University, USA. Previously she was appointed as Senior Expert in Energy Economics at the Ministry of Energy and Water, Beirut, Lebanon, Assistant Professor at Izmir University of Economics Izmir, Turkey and Teaching Faculty at Department of Economics George Mason University Fairfax, VA. She is member of International Association for Energy Economics, American Economic Association, and Association for Energy Engineers - National Capital Chapter, Leaders in Energy, Research, Communication, Policy & Analysis, and Munib and Angela Masri Institute for Energy and Natural Resources, and National Capitol Area Chapter of the US Association for Energy Economics. She has supervised Master’s students in Economics as main adviser 14 and reader for 40+. She has published 9 research articles in journals, 3 book chapters, and 7 technical reports contributed as author/co-author. She also completed many research projects as principal investigator and co-investigator.
