Dr. Fatma Abdelaziz Mousa Ali Amer holds a position of Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, Microbiology and Immunology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt. She has completed her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from same University. Previously she was appointed as Consultant of Microbiology and of Infection Control at Armed Forces Hospital, Kuwait, Head of Microbiology and Immunology Department at Faculty of Pharmacy, Sinai University, El-Arish, Egypt, Assistant Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor at Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt, and Visiting Professor at King Abdelaziz University, Jeddah, KSA, and Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia. She is member of Egyptian Society for Infection Control, Egyptian Society for Medical Microbiology, American Society for Microbiology, Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, ISC/IPWG, and president of International Society for Chemotherapy/Hepatitis Working Group, and Alliance for the Prudent use of Antimicrobials. She successfully supervised 16 students thesis. She is Co-editor of the International Arab Journal for Antimicrobial Agents and peer reviewer for many national and international peer-reviewed journals. She has published 3 books as well as 36 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author. She also delivered several presentations in conferences and workshops.
