Dr. Nagdy Farouk Abdel-Baky is currently working as Professor at Entomology Qassium University Egypt. He obtained his Ph.D. in Entomology from Mansoura University, Egypt in 1995. In past he worked as Demonstrator/ Teaching Assistant/ Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ and Professor at Mansoura University. His specific area of interest focuses on Intra-guild Interactions among Insect Natural Enemies, Bemisia spp. Biotypes, Host Plant Morphological and Biochemical Characters and their impact on Pest Infestation, Beneficial Organisms (Parasitoids, Entomopathogenic fungi, Predators) and IPM Concept, The Economic Decision levels (ET, EIL, ED & DB) of Silverleaf Whitefly, Cotton Aphids and Pink Bollworm, Identification of the Critical Growth Stage of Cotton Plant depends on its Interaction with the previous Insects, Sampling Methods of Whiteflies, Life Table Parameters of Insect Pests and Predators, Whitefly-Plant Host Range. He is also working as member of Southwestern Entomologist, Dallas, European Whitefly Studies Network UK, International Society for Pest Information, Egyptian Society of Biological Control of Pests, Egyptian Society of Entomology, Agricultural Sciences Society (ASS), Mansoura University, Egyptian Society of Biotechnology and Environmental Science, and Saudi Arabia Society of Organic Farming. He annually received undergraduate student Awards (Monthly Financial Support from Mansoura University) for obtaining the highest grades. He is also member of editorial board in number of journals. He also completed number of projects as Principal Investigator and co-author. He has published 42 articles in journals as author/co-author. He supervised 8 MSc and 3 PhD students, 1 PhD currently in his supervision.
