Biography

Mona A. Shouman was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1969. I received the B.Sc degree from Ain Shams University in 1990 specialized in Chemistry. I work at the National Research Center and held a M.Sc from Zagazig University and Ph.D degree from Ain Shams University in 1995 and 2000, specialized in Physical Chemistry. I became an Associate Professor in 2009. My current research interest includes surface chemistry , waste management, production of active carbon from natural products.
