The author is particularly interested in the synthesis and characterisation of new metal complexes that show promise for use as biologically active nanomaterials. The studies have covered a wide range of topics, from the discovery of new metal complexes with useful biological properties (such antibacterial or tumor-inhabiting properties) to the improvement of synthetic techniques for their synthes
