Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed El-Metwally is currently working as Assistant Professor of Plant Pathology, Plant Pathology Research Institute, Agriculture Research Center, Giza, Egypt. He has completed his PhD in Plant Pathology from Mansoura University, El-Mansoura, Egypt. His area of specialization includes Mycology, Identification of Fungi, Virus Diseases in Plants, Diseases Survey, Enhancing Systemic Acquired Resistance (SAR) in Plants, Fungal Diseases in Plants, Seed-Borne Fungi and Bacteria, Biological Control, The use of Recycled Organic Compounds for controlling the Soil-Borne Plant Pathogens, and The use of Antioxidants for Managing Plant Diseases. He is member of Egyptian Phytopathological Society and Asian Network for Scientific Information (ANSInet). He also attended more than 13 conferences and 50 meetings in Egypt. Dr. Ahmed received honors includes University Award for Outstanding Students at Egyptian Universities, Award of Ministry of Agriculture for the Master Degree of Agricultural Science, and Two Awards of Ministry of Agriculture as well as Dakahlia Governorate for his rank as the first in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science. He also participated in 3 research projects as member of project team. He has 14 publications in journals contributed as author/co-author.
