Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hemida Abd-Alla is currently working as Professor at Botany Department, faculty of Science, Assiut University, Egypt. He has completed his Ph.D. in Botany from same University. Previously he was appointed as Demonstrator, Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer and Associate Professor at Assiut University, Egypt. He also served as Visiting Professor at Institute of Plant Nutrition, Justeus Liebig University, Giessen, Germany, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda, and Niigata University, Niigata, Japan. Dr. Mohamed Hemida received honors includes the best Scientific research in the faculty of Science awarded by the Assiut University, Prof. Dr. Sluman Hozen for best scientific research in Biology awarded by the faculty of Science, Abdus Salam Prize in the field of Biology awarded by united Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, and Scientific Award of Excellence from American Biographic Institute (USA). He is member of editorial board in journals such as Research Journal of Microbiology, Research Journal of Soil Biology, and Current Research in Bacteriology, Asian Journal of Plant Pathology, and Bacteriology Journal. He is serving as referee for journals such as World Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology, International Journal of hydrogen Energy, Applied Energy, Journal of Plant Breeding and Crop Science, Maejo International Journal of Science and Technology, Thailand J. Agric. Science, Journal of Arab Association of Universities of Basic and Applied Sciences (JAAUBAS), New Zealand Journal of Agriculture and Horticulture, Fuel and Energy Journal and Fuel Journal. He successfully supervised 10 Masters and 5 PhD students in the field of Symbiotic Nitrogen fixing Bacteria and Pathogenic Bacteria. His area of research interest focuses on Molecular Signals of Nitrogen fixing Symbiotic Bacteria and Phytopathogenic Bacteria, Apoplastic and Symplastic transport of Root Nodule Bacteria, Biofuel Production, Bioremediation, and Biofertilizers. He has 83 publications in journals contributed as author/co-author.
