Dr. Hassan Mansour is currently working as Lecturer at Botany Department, Faculty of Science, Suez Canal University, Ismailia. He received his PhD in Botany from same University in 2010. His area of research interest related to Germination and Propagation of Endangered Plants Grown in Desert and Mountainous Habitats and Figuring out the Optimal Germination and Growth Conditions under the Green House Environment, Application of Molecular Markers Allonyms, Microsatellite and Gene Sequencing to study the Molecular basis for Mating System in Endangered Endemic Plants, Gene Sequencing for Genes Underlying Self-incompatibility (S- Locus) in the Out crossing Plant Species, and Genetic Diversity and Genetic Structure among and within Plant Populations and its effect on Mating Systems in Endangered Plants. He is member of The Egyptian Society for Environmental Sciences, Initiator, and the American Genetic Association. He also attended number of conferences and workshops. He has 4 publications in journals. He also received Fellowship for Ph.D. degree (2008-2010), Joint supervision program, Awarded by Egyptian Government to Mauricio Lab, Department of Genetics, University of Georgia, USA, and Fellowship grant for Post-doctoral Research from October 2nd 2011 to January 1st 2012 to Conti Lab, Institute of Systematic Botany, University of Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, and Honors in Science Festival, Suez Canal University 2012.
